High mobility and offensive firepower. Tough to kill when mobilized and has tremendous momentum to quickly punch through resistance, dominating any conventional battlefield where clear and decisive objectives are present. Much weaker on defense, however, and virtually a sitting duck in conditions with little to no maneuverability; environments abundant with concealed terrain (forests and cities) are especially hazardous. Against non-overt enemies, it is effectively useless. And while seemingly invulnerable, it's large size makes it an invitingly big target.
IJ: Artillery

Low mobility, excellent defensive firepower. Well-calculated barrages can lay down a rain of steel decimating an enemy offensive, grinding it to a cold and miserable halt at a distance; anyone or anything without adequate cover will be particularly at its mercy. Hence, the presence of well-entrenched, fortified heavy artillery is often an instrumental deterrent to attackers. Conversely, it doesn't have quite the same leverage offensively; typical artillery is stuck in fixed and/or unarmored positions that render it unable to survive long on an open battlefield or at close-range.
EP: Infantry

Moderate mobility and firepower. With flexibility to rapidly switch between offensive/defensive capabilities, occupy diverse combat roles (marines, airborne, VTOL assault, mechanized, etc), and freely operate in virtually any terrain environment. Infantry are of course vulnerable in exposed positions lacking adequate coverage, especially against hardened targets and long-range bombardment. But with favorable cover, concealment, and fire support, infantry can take or hold objectives indefinitely in the face of overwhelming opposition.
IP: Special Forces

Low mobility and firepower. Makes up for this with a forte in covert, indirect operations—asymmetric or unconventional warfare. Operating solo or in small teams behind enemy lines to clandestinely carry out vital recon and intel-gathering, espionage and disinformation, sabotage of installations or equipment, assassination of key military/political leaders, or rallying local dissidents into guerilla insurgencies. The obvious weakness here being that their survival depends on stealth; if compromised and discovered, they will likely be overrun.
