why is it sometimes with a dual, we look like deer caught in the headlights of our meeting? Like we both pause and...wait. It's almost tense. What IS it? what do you think?

Idk. My duals seem completely random to me. Whereas I hardly ever find myself surprised by anyone else.
“Some of the evil of my tale may have been inherent in our circumstances. For years we lived anyhow with one another in the naked desert, under the indifferent heaven. By day the hot sun fermented us; and we were dizzied by the beating wind. At night we were stained by dew, and shamed into pettiness by the innumerable silences of stars. We were a self-centered army without parade or gesture, devoted to freedom, the second of man's creeds, a purpose so ravenous that it devoured all our strength, a hope so transcendent that our earlier ambitions faded in its glare.” —T.E. Lawrence

ESIs are random? The hell, you are so off.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

My initial reactions to EIEs range from lust to disgust to irritation to a feeling of tranquility. I hate them.

Maybe not to you.

I wonder how many LIEs would list "randomness" as a trait they associate with ESIs. Seriously. I mean, they're IJ temperament...Maybe you could elaborate to shed some light; we're working on one word here.

I'm sure he doesn't mean "random" in terms of sporadic energy. He probably means "random" on a more subjective level, but yeah some elaboration would be nice.

On topic, around duals I tend to feel much less stupid than I do around other people. It's like I'm able to have conversations with ISTps (and Delta in general) without second guessing myself.

Yeah, I don't mean someone who's sporadically bouncing around and being apeshit and yelling like a cokehead, etc. It's more the 'subjective random' thing—the things they say and what gets communicated. Some of the seeming 'randomness' about it is derived from a sense of disbelief on my part. "What? This person actually thinks and feels things so integral to my own values and personal sensibilities? This cannot be. It must be a mirage of some sort…"

Initially I'll often 2nd-guess until my mind can properly adjust and take seriously that the person is for real.

I love it when people attempt to communicate like schizophrenics.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

What ever happened to your post on information aspects? When we talked that one time I was pretty sure I fit internal statics of objects as dominant, but can't find it anymore. The old link http://www.the16type...tin/#post663237

What does that have to do with this thread?

We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

I was gonna relate it back to an earlier topic on duality.

Yeah I feel that Nanashi. I think it happens when I/we/whoever overconceptualize people. SFp's are like, part of nature magical ferry sprite shit, and I'm sitting there analyzing myself thinking how awesome they are wishing I could ever be that free. I'll elaborate more later if my faculty returns to me, but I think it's on sabbatical for the night.

I think what he meant was, despite the fact they are duals they do not seem particularly special as such.
