I think it is commonly believed that most rappers are beta but I actually think there are very few beta rappers overall. This is my list of 5 rappers off the top of my head that I am pretty sure are beta:

Flo Rida (ESTp) Quiet, dark shadowy type.

Ludacris (ESTp) Quiet, dark shadowy type. These types tend to stay away from spotlights naturally.

DMX (ENFj)...spiritual victim type.

Tupac Shakur (ENFj) ...political minded type.

Notorious B.IG (ESTp)...loud obnoxious type.

50 cent makes an awful lot of sense to me when I have seen an interview with him, I actually find him inspiring in a way but I think he is an ENTp most likely and I am getting some sort of indirect benefit from him. He is friends with Eminem who I feel is the most ISTp ISTp in the whole wide world and though I know there are exceptions to the quadra relations idea, I think it is more likely that they are from neighboring quadras.

I might add a few more beta rappers if I remember anymore.

Eminem and Tupac are both IEI. They remind me of Percy Shelley.

I agree there are aerent many beta rappers. I would have to say biggie was gamma though. Not sure what type; and I dont get all this typing of Eminem as INFp lol. I can easily see Tupac as INFp or ENFj, though hard to say since I dont listen to that much rap.

idk, I've always thought snoop was SEI. I can see Se dom in that picture though, he reminds me of an old friend who is either SLE or SEE; I lean SEE.

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

How is Ludacris dark or shadowy, apart from his skin?

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

I have Biggie as SLI and Diddy as IEE.

Eminem is IEI because he clearly needs an SLE to come along and smack him and tell him to stop feeling so goddamn sorry for himself. Clear IP temperament and Se valuing by his somewhat removed but internally strained presence. I could MAYBE see ILI, but it doesn't feel right. He has typical Fe ego/Se seeking humor in those sort of random spats of overtness and over-the-top mimicry where he sort of comes out of his little IP shell.

Also he is 3w4 sx/so, 3/6/8, and I'll be fuckiing DAMNED if there are any SLIs with that combo.

Also Dr. Dre is probably LSI-Se.

Rakim is sx/sp, Dre probably sp/sx, and possibly 6wing? He's colder, more calculating, less ingenuous.

I'm wonder if Rakim could be sx/so, with all that prophetic underworld dragon business. sp/sx works for dre, 6w is plausible but I'm not sure whether his perfectionism is that of a self-programmed robot or just the tip of personal mastery. It could make some sense of his relationship with em, given the double 4w fix there, and the fact that dre probably has a 4w5 fix.

I always thought Snoop Dogg was SEI. His "persona" is typical SEI stoner (i.e., physical and emotional comfort as general goods), whether or not he himself is SEI is another question I suppose.

Dre as LSI fits well.

Jay-Z? Personally, I can imagine SEE; he has a cooler energy but he's still pretty Se, I think: "But you don't become the front-runner in music because someone lets you. You have to claim your shoes..." Also, "Song Cry" sorta feels like Se + Fi to me, if only stereotypically.

Ice Cube, on the other hand, is a good example of a Delta rapper, imo. Certainly very different from Eminem, and I imagine he'd have no patience for Eminem. I suspect he might be LSE.

Regardless, something delta. I suppose ISTp does make more sense, actually.

In other news, there's a typing somewhere on this site of Jay-Z and Beyonce as ILE-SEI duals. I see them as SEE-IEI semi-duals. Can someone please explain the ILE typing for Jay-Z? Because he seems pretty obviously gamma to me.

Didn't someone type KRS-One as EIE? If they haven't yet, I certainly think he is EIE.

EDIT: Also, pretty sure biggie is not beta. I always thought he was delta, tbh.

I could easily see KRS-one as some p-sub β extrovert; his energy is similar to Busta Rhymes, who is most likely Ni-EIE 3w4-7w8-8w7 sx/so.

KRS is an obvious SEI, IMO. Alpha always arises as the first stalk that touches the sun from the grassroots.

Yeah, after looking at some more pictures, I could see alpha, but would be inclined to say ESE > SEI.

Yeah, I'd buy that too. I saw an interview with him, and his energy was NOT IP. He seemed very "surplus of energy" like an EJ would be.
